About the Role:
Reporting to the HSE Manager, the Senior HSE Coordinator will have an in-depth knowledge of OH&S Acts and Associated Regulations. This position will be based in Moses Lake, Washington.
As a Senior HSE Coordinator at Graham, you will:
- Provide advice to project management on the safety-related actions needed to maintain an acceptable level of safety on the job site. This advice is based on OH&S/OSHA Acts and Regulations, and Graham Safety and Loss Prevention rules, policies and procedures
- Observe, inspect, and assist site operations to ensure work is being done safely and the site is in Regulatory compliance. This will encompass 70-80% of this role's time
- Seek cooperation from workers on site by the use of good interpersonal communication skills
- Recognize hazardous situations and act on them appropriately
- Provide safety-specific training to individuals and groups
- Work efficiently and effectively with employees and management, often in stressful situations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Four years of practical site construction experience, minimum, as a Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor
- Strong knowledge of OH&S or OSHA Regulations as applicable for location of responsibility
- Certified Safety Officer (CSO or NCSO) minimum requirement
- Advanced First Aid or higher
- Construction Trade Certification is desirable but not required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $80k-$97k per annum, based on experience
