Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Senior Hardware Engineering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of hardware products. As a Senior Hardware Engineering Manager, you will oversee a team of engineers and guide them through all stages of the product development lifecycle. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, including product management, software development, and operations to deliver innovative hardware products.

Key responsibilities:

·         Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, ensuring that they are motivated, engaged, and working effectively.

·         Develop and implement hardware development strategies that align with business objectives.

·         Lead all aspects of the design, development, and testing of hardware products.

·         Ensure that all hardware designs meet industry standards, including safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

·         Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver hardware products on time and within budget.

·         Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

·         Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors

·         ensuring that issues are identified and resolved in a timely and effective manner.

·         Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management, highlighting any issues or risks that may impact the delivery of the project.

    ·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    ·         A strong technical background in hardware development, with a proven ability in a management role.

    ·         Proven record of building engaged engineering teams with a culture of feedback, open communication, and team orientation.

    ·         Ability to manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.

    ·         Interpersonal skills, to establish good rapport, generate enthusiasm & negotiate priorities

    ·         Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

    ·         Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, great teammate, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.

    ·         Strong problem solving skills

    ·         Demonstrates a sense of humor, tact, and flexibility in changing situations.

    Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $158,240- $293,940

    This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

    Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
