We are looking for a Senior Full StackJavaScript/TypeScript Engineer to join our team in Belgrade working in a hybrid work environment. This is an amazing opportunity to work on the Innography patent search and analytics application as well as developing the application layer to support new AI/ML search products. We would love to speak with you if you are proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS and have a passion for developing products that people love to use. This role is more Frontend-oriented, but you should also expect to have occasional Node and PHP tasks. Previous experience with PHP for this role isn't mandatory and will be considered as an advantage.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- 3+ years’ experience building software applications delivered to the market
- 3+ years' recent experience developing in JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS
- Minimum 1 year of experience using MySQL or other relational databases
It would be great if you also had . . .
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering degree, or relevant work experience
- Previous experience with PHP or willingness to learn and periodically use it
- Experience using AWS technologies, like EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda and RDS
- Experience developing complex User Interfaces using React
- Experience deploying applications using Docker containers
- Experience mentoring other developers
What will you be doing in this role?
- Develop, test, and support new and existing applications in an agile environment
- Design and produce clean code
- Working mostly on the Frontend utilizing vanilla JavaScript, JQuery and React.js, with responsibilities on the Backend which includes producing code using Node.js and PHP (occasionally)
- Working closely with product management to scope and deliver the product roadmap
- Collaborating closely with the development team to design technical solutions that ensure timely roadmap delivery
- Meeting sprint commitments both personally and as a team
- Continued learning and thought leadership around different aspects of software development
Product you will be developing
The Innography product is a well-established tool for searching and analysis of Intellectual Property data. You will be involved in maintaining and creating new features for the product as well as building integrations between Innography and other product offerings at Clarivate. We are also working on developing new products utilizing AI/ML search technology to target different use cases.
About the Team
The Innography team consists of about 12 people including 8 developers, from which 4 are currently located in Belgrade. Most of the team is based in Austin, TX USA. We are expanding the team to support integrations with other products at Clarivate and to develop products targeted to new use cases. The customers for Innography are based all over the world.

Hours of Work
The expected core hours of engagement will be an 8-hour day starting at CEST 9:00 AM and ending at CEST 5:00 PM. This is a full-time position.
This is also a hybrid position working in the office 3 days every other week.
