The Role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Front-End Software Engineer with strong expertise in React to join our dynamic team. As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing user interfaces for our web applications. You should have a passion for creating elegant, intuitive, and responsive user experiences, coupled with a deep understanding of modern web development technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, tested and documented code to implement features.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain APIs to support various functionalities of the application.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the application.
• Implement best practices to optimize the overall application performance.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement features that meet or exceed project requirements, user needs, and business goals.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the development team.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the code.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth application functionality.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the development process and improve the quality of our applications.
• Join our engineering enlightenment group to discuss books, work through online courses, and other activities to continuously learn about our craft.
• And other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong front-end development knowledge including HTML, CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Storybook.
• Solid back-end development knowledge using server-side technologies such as Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Proficient knowledge of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with UI design tools such as Figma.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and the ability to work well under pressure to iteratively optimize and innovate products.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Able to give and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Have big-data analytics/visualization experience.
• Have healthcare domain experience.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $195,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
