Based out of Romeoville, just southwest of Chicago, Great Kitchens has been supplying private label, take & bake pizza since 2005. It was recently acquired by Brynwood Partners in December 2020. Our Company operates a 165,000 sq ft crust facility in Chicago Heights and a 155,000 sq ft toppings facility in Romeoville. Every role is vital to the growth of our organization.
Key Accountabilities
The Manager of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for all corporate facing FP&A activities including reporting, executive presentations, and analysis, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning. This position will create complex financial models, evaluate scenarios, work collaboratively with other departments including senior leadership, and make recommendations on improving overall profitability at the corporate level. The position will have the unique opportunity to redefine the Corporate FP&A function and develop best in class processes. This role requires a strong FP&A background, ideally in a manufacturing and demonstrated knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, and analyzes monthly consolidated financial reports for executive leadership.
- Analyzes monthly results and provide insight on budget/forecast variances.
- Creates presentations for CEO, CFO, and the private equity board.
- Leads and improve monthly forecasting process, while partnering with other key departments for inputs.
- Owns the coordination of the annual budgeting process.
- Creates short- / long-term financial forecasts models for income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
- Prepare customer profitability anysis and quarterly pricing true-up
- Ad Hoc Reporting / Special Projects as requested
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent work experience. MBA Preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in an FP&A department for a manufacturing, distribution or industrial company required.
- Strong attention to details, analytical and organizational skills
- Problem solving, good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be extremely responsive & action-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Microsoft D365 software experience is a plus
