Job Summary:
Write embedded firmware for Power Instruments products, including Universal Powerline Carrier, Disturbance Recorder, High Accuracy Revenue meters, and Signal Conditioners. Design and develop firmware to ensure operating specifications standards are met. Test developed codes with regression and test automation. Assist Test Engineers to develop test specifications. Mentor Junior Engineers. Work with Product Manager to review customer requirements, do feasibility analysis, and create specifications and schedules to deliver features that meet customer needs. Perform internal type tests to comply with industry standards and ensure product meets timing requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; and 10 years' experience in job offered or closely related position such as (Lead) Project/Program Engineer/Manager, with 10 years in C/C++ Programming; Electronics Debug and filter designs; Operating Systems Fundamentals and hands-on experience with Linux; and protocols such as I2C, SPI, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB. Must include 3 years' experience in architecting products for High Speed Data Capture and leading and coordinating development activities. Requires 10% domestic travel. Ref: SB
