Sparks Group has partnered with a lifestyle activewear brand in search of a motivated Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior FP&A Analyst will collaborate closely with key teams and contribute significantly to sales, inventory, planning, and budgeting processes by pulling raw data, organizing it into a digestible format, and communicating it to inform tactical and strategic decisions. Responsibilities:
Sales and Inventory
- Determine quarterly inventory production run quantities by product type based on cash flow projections and strategic goals.
- Calculate monthly inventory balances and forecasted inventory receipts at the item level, collaborating with merchandising to identify items at risk of stocking out.
- Maintain, update, and enhance the inventory forecasting tool to assist the merchandising team in planning in-stock styles for production runs.
- Create, own, and distribute daily business performance metrics to leadership.
- Build, track, and forecast budgets for all profit and loss accounts.
- Update and maintain the cash flow file with new accounts, product types, and key calculations.
- Assist in month-close activities by updating income statement actuals and tying out variances to the general ledger and enterprise resource planning tool.
- Prepare and analyze cost variances to budgets to inform strategic decision-making.
- College degree in finance required.
- 2+ years of FP&A , corporate finance and inventory management experience ( ideally in retail or consumer goods).
- Graduate from Corporate Finance Training Program preferred
- Oracle Enterprise reporting tools
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills - Expert in Microsoft Excel - proficient in building forecasting models from scratch.
- Exceptional organizational skills, analytical and quantitative with acute attention to detail.
