Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will serve as a key member of the Finance team and will support the global Financial Planning and analysis activities and processes. The Senior Analyst of FP&A must possess excellent communication, analytical mindset, and time management skills. The candidate should have a strong FP&A background, ideally in a manufacturing company and demonstrated knowledge of Financial Planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support CPC’s forecasting and reporting requirements for the annual operating plan (AOP), strategic plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks
  • Develop and execute cost center reporting, analysis, and recommendations for areas of improvements for various departments and levels of the organization
  • Maintain and produce forecasting models for leaders within CPC
  • Support the creation and understanding of the business unit P&L’s and other key performance metrics to provide key insights and risks and opportunities
  • Lead Ad Hoc reporting and projects
  • Able to execute effective PowerPoint slides to communicate business results
  • Able to develop relationships and communication across departments at both the local and corporate levels

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, or related concentration
  • At least 3 years of experience in finance roles with a bias towards quantitative analysis, decision making, and FP&A
  • Proven track record as an effective business partner providing analytical support
  • Positive, driven and energetic; self directed with sense of urgency
  • Advanced data analysis and skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Must be familiar with financial models, metrics, and tools used to determine projected financial benefits and profitability such as: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Investment (ROI), Free Cash Flow (FCF) and working capital analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or CPA and/or CMA
  • Operational finance experience
  • Oracle experience
  • HFM, Essbase, OneStream, or similar consolidation tool
  • Power BI experience
