Opportunity to join QCT Finance to support the Mobile Connectivity Business Unit. This role provides the opportunity to interact extensively with various functions including product management, sales, business operations, legal and finance. Responsibilities include product pricing support, unit forecasting, financial reporting, budget forecasting, month-end close and variance analysis. The position involves developing and validating the financial forecasts utilizing excel models and Tableau.
A successful candidate will possess strong initiative, outstanding analytical and communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to manage various projects and deliverables.
Position is strongly team-oriented and involves interactions with several finance and operation functions. Great opportunity in a high visibility role to provide analysis to management while partnering with other finance and business organizations across the Company.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
- 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 1+ year in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
Level of Responsibility:
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
- Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
- Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
- Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
- Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range:
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
