The Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis partners with Upstream’s operations leaders and clinic staff across the United States. This position partners with our West Division and is responsible for providing financial decision support to the field across multiple metrics and quantifying the impact of operational decisions. This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:- Works alongside operations team members to interpret financial metrics and develop strategies to enhance clinic performance; serves as the key finance partner for meeting both short and long-term goals
- Assists with annual planning and translating organizational targets down to regional/clinic level
- Proactively identifies risks and opportunities in financial and operational performance
- Assists clinic leadership with monthly operating reviews and variance analysis; Identifies and researches variances to budget and prior year, providing recommendations for improvement
- Responsible for tracking impacts of key operational initiatives
- Responsible for calculating performance bonuses nationally for our clinician and support staff
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis; experience working in multi-site healthcare organization is preferred.
- Knowledge of traditional FP&A processes (budgeting/forecasting, monthly reporting, variance analysis, financial metrics, etc).
- Experience developing financial reporting.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
