Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join the Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) Sales Finance team to own the sales forecasting process and provide strategic analysis across the business to help Autodesk win in the Construction industry.
You will play a critical role in preparing financial analyses needed to support ACS Sales and Finance teams, and will collaborate with HQ Planning, Sales, Data Engineering and Rev Ops teams as needed. You will will also provide strategic insights from the data to help Sales and Finance leaders interpret the business and understand the "why" behind the data.
You will be a strategic thinker who demonstrates excellent analytical ability, data savvy in business intelligence and analytics and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with varying levels of management across multiple teams. This position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager, Autodesk Construction Solutions.

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $81,200 and $140,140. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly forecast submissions for top-line metrics ACV, Billing, and Revenue, based on input from Sales teams, business trend analysis, and application of forecast drivers
- Inform senior Sales and Finance leadership of forecast insights and business implications to drive forecast accuracy and appropriate action
- Monitor forecast upside and risk factors and conduct regular forecast scenario analysis and stress-testing
- Develop key metrics to analyze sales performance and efficiency, harmonizing data from financial systems and Salesforce CRM
- Partner with finance teams across ACS to support consistent messaging on forecasting and reporting
- Assist in automating ACS Sales Finance processes, utilizing BI tools and a framework for continuous process improvement
- Contribute to quarter end close cycle and other time-sensitive deliverables as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (finance, business, accounting or engineering)
- CPA, CFA, or MBA
- 5+ years of related finance experience
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, inquisitive mind, data savvy and experience with financial models and analyses
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools preferred (Power BI, Tableau, and/or Anaplan)
- Experience with Salesforce or another Sales CRM tool preferred
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in Cloud/SaaS industry and an understanding of related finance and accounting policies
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and building effective relationships
