The Senior Financial Analyst, FPG Analytics is a critical member of the FPG Analytics team and is responsible for supporting physician practice data/reporting/analytics activities including: Operations, Finance, Business Development and Revenue Cycle. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst interfaces with Departmental Management and Administration across the Medical Center.
Job Responsibilities
Oversight and management of standard/recurring reports for Physician Revenue Cycle Activity ($4 billion annual charges; $680 million annual collections; 3 million ambulatory visits) for all physician practices at MMC
Oversight and management of analytics for ambulatory visit metrics; develop, produce and distribute all access/visit related reports and metrics across the FPG and larger MMC community
Serve as analytics lead in working with finance on recurring audits, to reconcile Revenue Cycle System vs Accounting GL System
Develop and maintain report and metric library for all recurring/standard reports produced by FPG Analytics team
Work with external entities to provide data and analysis of physician revenue cycle (scheduling, billing, productivity) data, in line with FPG and MMC strategic initiatives
Manage production, analysis and distribution for recurring high level reports distributed to Senior (FPG and Executive MMC) Leadership
Utilize SQL knowledge in developing and maintaining Revenue Cycle Reports
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred
SQL report writing (both Microsoft and Oracle)
Exceptional Analytical and Organizational skills
Solid communication (written and oral) skills
Knowledge of health care industry
Strong knowledge of Epic PB and Cadence applications
Strong knowledge of underlying (Epic) reporting databases
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills
