Job Responsibilities:
Business Consulting
- Act as a trusted advisor to department heads and senior management, offering financial, accounting, and business management analytical support and recommendations.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify growth opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and market trends.
- Effectively communicate financial information and findings to all levels of leadership.
- Build financial acumen across company departments by sharing appropriate data insights.
Budgeting, Revenue Projections, and Financial Planning
- Partner with business executives and finance team to develop year end/quarterly/monthly financial projections.
- Establish proper business and financial processes to ensure adherence to budget and internal controls.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and provide regular variance analysis and reporting.
- Drive digitization of existing budgeting process by implementing FP&A and AP/Procurement systems.
Financial Operations
- Collaborate with HR and Sales teams to carry out monthly sales commissions calculations and quarterly/annual bonus calculations.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in all compensation-related financial processes.
Special Projects
- Participate as a lead or team member in various special projects or financial studies aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and financial performance of the organization.
- Analyze financial data and create comprehensive reports to support project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field (Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics)
- 3-5 years of prior experience in FP&A or Accounting functions
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze, interpret, and visualize complex data sets
- Ability to create complex and dynamic financial models (Revenue/Expense Forecast, NPV, Payback Period, IRR, Sensitivity Analysis, ROI, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of capital markets, foreign exchange, US GAAP, and financial statements
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Preferred: MBA, CPA, Master of Finance, CFA
- Preferred: experience working with ERP and CRM systems
- Preferred: experience working with Power BI, SQL
