About the role:
EF World Journeys is looking for an experienced Film Producer to lead and elevate all pre- to post-production efforts on our marketing video and photo content.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and leverage their strengths in project management, relationship management, creativity, and vendor negotiations to help produce original content that evokes emotional response and drives actions.
The role will oversee every aspect of the production process and deploy impactful, business critical work in partnership with a variety of internal and external teams.
You will:
  • Be a proactive player in maintaining alignment between business strategy and creative execution
  • Collaborate with the broader team to brainstorm and pitch creative proposals against project briefs
  • Create budget estimates per project and track all costs
  • Facilitate project communication from planning through execution
  • Build and maintain project schedules
  • Source and hire additional crew and talent, secure transportation and accommodation, and manage equipment needs
  • Manage and distribute asset selects through our DAM
You have:
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated professional experience in video/photoshoot production—preferably at an agency or production company
  • Experience working and negotiating with third-party vendors and managing the production for a variety of creative marketing needs
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and schedules in consultation with other internal partners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead them successfully to completion without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to effectively work and connect with partners across multiple functions and geographies in a matrixed organization
  • Proactive identification and solution-setting to mitigate project risks
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite and DAM systems
  • Knowledge of copyright, image permissions, and fair use protocols for music and video resource
