WORK DAYS & Shift: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift
Salary: $75K - $85K yearly
JOB SUMMARY:
As a #Senior Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations, maintenance, and improvement of our organization's portfolio of properties and physical infrastructure. As a senior member of the facilities management team, you will lead a group of dedicated staff and collaborate with various departments to achieve the organization's objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Protocols for Maintenance
- operations and ensure consistent implementation across portfolio.
- Conduct routine physical audits, inspecting buildings and units, and equipment for appearance, repairs, and maintenance work. Ensure preventive maintenance plans are in place and fully executed.
- Work collaboratively with Regional Managers, Asset Management and Real Estate Development to meet/exceed performance standards for facilities.
- Ensure safe, attractive, and high-quality curb appeal of HDC properties and grounds.
- Responsible for achieving satisfactory scores for physical inspections of HDC properties by regulatory agencies, such as HUD, Housing Authorities and Housing Finance Agencies.
- Participate in budget planning and ensure capital improvement plans are updated annually. Identify, track, and provide support to execute annual capital projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee Procurement Policy, Large Services Contracts and Vendor Relations including Supplier Diversity and ensure services delivered meet HDC performance standards of excellence.
- Responsible for Site Safety and Security Planning, Crisis Management, and Emergency Response planning, including staffing HDC’s safety committee.
- Ensure HDC buildings are compliant with governing laws and regulatory requirements.
- Manage after hours on call emergency response strategy to properties.
- Proactively communicate and recommend solutions for deficiencies, efficiencies, and challenges identified in HDC’s portfolio.
- Prepare weekly, quarterly, and annual reports to VP of Property Management and Executive Leadership team on progress against goals.
- Supervise Facilities Manager and provide technical assistance as needed to site staff.
- Participate in the onboarding and Orientation of new Maintenance team members and oversee maintenance training and Continuing Education Program for new hires and tenured employees.
- Mentor a team of maintenance staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, experience, and special requirements:
- Position prefers experience with an affordable housing background.
- A valid driver’s license is also required.

- Successful completion of drug screening and criminal background check.
Must reside within the geographic territory which they oversee.
