Site Senior Environmental Specialist
Where will you work: This position supports our Faustina and Uncle Sam Manufacturing facilities. You will be based at our Faustina site with frequent travel to our Uncle Sam facility.
Working with operations to ensure environmental compliance to help them meet their operational goals and maintain the necessary permit requirements. Daily you will review operational data and provide guidance to facility personnel to address compliance concerns and offer solutions. Site Senior Environmental Specialist

What you'll do:
- Manage environmental aspects of projects and contractor selection.
- Coordinate all permit applications from identifying need, agency negotiations and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental requirements (statutes, regulations, permits, licenses, policies and procedures) through inspections, testing and evaluation of plant operations data.
- Analyze process and environmental data for compliance and trend evaluations and prepare reports for regulatory agencies, management, community groups and other stakeholders.
- develop and implement plans and procedures as needed.
- Serves as "on-call" environmental coordinator, responding to a wide range of issues including spill reporting, waste management, wastewater, storm water, drinking water, radiation, air emissions and agency inspections.
- Participate in incident investigations.
What you'll need:
- 5 years environmental experience
- Prior experience with Title V program compliance
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and understanding of Agency requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science related discipline
- TWIC Card or ability to obtain a TWIC Card
- Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter able to deliver results and meet deadlines
- Ability to prepare regulatory reports using both standard and specialized online and desktop software
- Interest in and ability to work in a manufacturing setting both indoors and outdoors
