Job Description
The Technology Architecture & Engineering Department is responsible for worldwide technical strategy, design, implementation, and top level support for all core infrastructure. As part of TA&E, the Systems Engineering group is responsible for integrating various technologies including server OS, virtualization, storage, directories, email, security, and cloud platforms.
Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions:

• Research, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions to address business challenges
• Architect, engineer, and deploy to production technical solutions including detailed architectural designed documentation
• Work closely with Information Security team to ensure systems meet all best practice and compliance requirements
• Lead in analyzing and further securing access in existing environment as well expending use of new technologies, largely related to cloud and hybrid environment
• Transition systems from engineering to Operations and Access Administration teams by providing documentation and training to technical staff
• Design, implement, optimize and troubleshoot enterprise scale server environments including cloud based, hybrid and on-prem deployments
• Lead technical projects and sub projects across the department
• Serve as subject matter expert and internal consultant to other technical staff and groups
• Be the top-level responsible party for escalated support, working directly with external vendors and consultants to resolve issues and produce root cause analysis reports
• Efficiently triage and prioritize tasks, projects and issues in a highly demanding environment
• Any other responsibilities or special projects as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• 8+ years of experience in information technology, 5+ years of experience in engineering, 3+ years of experience in technical subject matter

• Expert understanding and ability to execute various industry standards for authentication and authorization for both granting access and prevention of unauthorized/inappropriate use
• Expert understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) in a hybrid environment
• Expert understanding of major authentication/authorization platforms/standards including PKI, certificate authentication, passwordless authentication, ADFS, OAuth2, OIDC, RADIUS, Multi-factor authentication, conditional access RBAC (role-based access control) concepts, Kerberos, NTLMV2 and SAML
• Expert understanding of encryption and security best practices and methods
• Solid understanding of privilege account management systems, preferably with experience with CyberArk EPV
• Solid understanding of implementing proper health/status monitoring for mission critical systems
• Solid understanding of Endpoint Privilege Management (e.g. BeyondTrust Defendpoint, CyberArk EPM)
• Solid understanding of PowerShell and general scripting/automation
• Proven experience with large enterprise scale environments
• Proven desire and ability to learn new technologies
• Proven success in leading projects
• Proven focus on customer service and business oriented thinking

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or similar field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Estimated salary range is $130,000 - $165,000. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
