The Endpoint Senior Engineer will be part of the team that is responsible for Endpoint Engineering. This role will be part of our global End User Services Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Designing, implementing, and maintaining Endpoint solutions such as desktop/laptop management, Print infrastructure, O365, mobile device management (MDM), and endpoint security.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Providing technical support to end users for hardware, software, and networking issues related to Endpoint systems. Troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
- System Administration: Managing and administering Endpoint systems, including user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Security and Compliance: Ensuring that Endpoint systems comply with security policies, standards, and regulations. Implementing security measures to protect against threats.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring the performance of Endpoint systems and optimizing them for efficiency and reliability.
- Documentation and Training: Creating and maintaining documentation for Endpoint systems and processes. Providing training to end users on how to use Endpoint systems effectively.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with other IT teams and departments to ensure that Endpoint systems meet the needs of the organization. Communicating with end users to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Research and Evaluation: Researching new technologies and tools related to Endpoint and evaluating their potential benefits and impact on the organization.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- Advanced Knowledge of OSD with SCCM is a must and should be a subject matter expert
- Intermediate PowerShell experience required
- Strong troubleshooting and critical problem-solving skills
- Experience of indermidate Design and Implementation on Endpoint related Infrastructure and tools
- Soft Skills would include customer service experience and excellent communication skills
- Subject matter area skills needed or preferred: Windows platform, Print solutions
- Methodologies and/or technology framework knowledge needed (examples: Agile, TOGAF, ITIL)
