Description:Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Senior Engineer that can provide technical leadership for day-to-day operations efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for day-to-day contract-related operations.
- Responsible for providing planning, direction, and coordination of all engineering efforts.
- Responsible for technical performance and engineering costs and schedules and serves as the Contractor’s technical spokesperson for projects and/or programs.
- Advise the Government on schedule, budget, and technical priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.
- 12+ years of related, proven experience in technical management overseeing complex, multi-team projects of similar scale as the Contractor’s proposed effort.
- Direct experience with software development and requirements management.
- Proven experience leading teams to develop new and existing products, solutions, and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically while executing tactically.
- Experience with project logistics by managing and balancing project resources across multiple competing priorities. Including securing adequate resources needed by the teams to meet schedule.
- Communicates effectively and accurately convey status and identify, assess, and communicate risks.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to express technical ideas to senior decision makers.
- Experience working with controlled engineering baselines.
- U.S. citizenship and Secret Clearance Eligible.
Desired Skills :
- Master’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.
- 20+ years of related, proven experience in technical management overseeing complex, multi-team projects of similar scale as the Contractor’s proposed effort.
- Experience managing remote and distributing teams.
- Working knowledge of cyber testing or training.
- Experience working in Government programs with controlled engineering baselines.
