Senior Engineer

Description:Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Senior Engineer that can provide technical leadership for day-to-day operations efforts.
Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for day-to-day contract-related operations.
• Responsible for providing planning, direction, and coordination of all engineering efforts.
• Responsible for technical performance and engineering costs and schedules and serves as the Contractor’s technical spokesperson for projects and/or programs.
• Advise the Government on schedule, budget, and technical priorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.
• 12+ years of related, proven experience in technical management overseeing complex, multi-team projects of similar scale as the Contractor’s proposed effort.
• Direct experience with software development and requirements management.
• Proven experience leading teams to develop new and existing products, solutions, and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically while executing tactically.
• Experience with project logistics by managing and balancing project resources across multiple competing priorities. Including securing adequate resources needed by the teams to meet schedule.
• Communicates effectively and accurately convey status and identify, assess, and communicate risks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to express technical ideas to senior decision makers.
• Experience working with controlled engineering baselines.
• U.S. citizenship and Secret Clearance Eligible.

Desired Skills :

• Master’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.
• 20+ years of related, proven experience in technical management overseeing complex, multi-team projects of similar scale as the Contractor’s proposed effort.
• Experience managing remote and distributing teams.
• Working knowledge of cyber testing or training.
• Experience working in Government programs with controlled engineering baselines.
