The Senior Email &Automation Specialist is a mid-level role on our Inbound Marketing Team. This person will own the buildout of audience-specific emails and workflows within our clients' Marketing Automation platforms. They should have experience building and implementing a variety of email programs for various types of clients and must be able to work across teams (particularly paid social, paid search, and e-commerce) to drive growth across the customer lifecycle. They should have strong communication skills and help drive a strong campaign from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a curious mind, strong communication skills, enjoys working in a collaborative team, has a great personality, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Build standard automations as well as one-off marketing campaigns.
- Execute A/B testing, track and analyze data (achieve engagement, conversion, revenue and growth goals), and report on results of campaigns.
- Proofread email copy and subject lines for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
- Create segments for optimal delivery and conversion rates.
- Ensure all emails comply with best practices to ensure accurate email tracking, deliverability, and a great customer experience.
- Work effectively with team members and clients to ensure timely and successful deployment of all targeted email campaigns.
- Identify potential issues or challenges to campaign or project completion and recommend solutions.
- Manage list segmentation to increase engagement by sending the right message to the right user at the right time.
- Use research, insights and A/B testing to optimize campaigns.
- Track, analyze and report monthly on email campaign results.
- Participate in email marketing thought leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 - 4 years of email marketing experience
- 2+ years of professional experience with HubSpot
- Expert knowledge of database management concepts and best practices
- Proven track record with cross-functional collaboration and achieving high customer satisfaction
- Experience within the digital advertising landscape and related technologies
- Comfort with business analytics and producing data-driven insights and reports
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
