Position Description
The Senior EDI Developer reports directly to the SAP Enterprise Applications Technology Leader. This role provides opportunities to work in a dynamic and results-driven work environment. Ideal candidates will embrace a growth mindset, focused on continuous improvement. The Senior EDI Developer will take on a leadership role as an integral member of the Refresco network, with the opportunity to experience growth and success at the world's largest independent bottler of beverages.
Key Accountabilities:
The following are essential duties and responsibilities for this position:

• Provide technical leadership and is responsible for reviewing and further evolving development standards, framework, guidelines and approach.
• Builds proactive, responsive relationships with IT team members and business users to understand upcoming business needs and provides visibility into development capacity planning and utilization.
• Successfully complete complex and large team projects, including status reporting with project management.
• Ensure reliable and effective EDI operations by monitoring EDI production landscape and troubleshoot system issues/processes.
• Daily support includes analyzing and correcting failed translations and/or processing errors.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure coding standards and review documentation.
• Mentor other members of the team helping them to improve skills.
• Create and maintain required documentation including design and technical specs.
• Develop test cases and assist team with testing.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 5 years of experience as a Software Developer and/or Programmer Analyst using Business Process Modeling Language for handling EDI files in IBM Sterling Integrator for B2B communication, including developing maps, business processes and managing system architecture; handling integration with SAP systems, setup of EDI messages and other B2B transactions; and using SQL, MFT, EDI, UAT, Windows, and Linux.

Working Conditions

• Physical Demands- Continuously sitting for prolonged periods, as the job is administrative in nature.
• Visual/Sensory - This position requires attention to detail, requiring attention with one or two senses at a time.
• Work environment - Work and environment fasted paced, requiring ability to remain focused under pressure.
• May work from home but must report to office as needed, approximately 10% of the time. Requires 10 to 15% travel to Refresco sites throughout the United States to assist with project go-lives
