Location: Atlanta (Galleria)

Hybrid- 3 days a week onsite

Job Overview:


As an Advisor in Hardware Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to develop and support IoT devices. You will be responsible for designing circuits and PCBs for wireless IoT products, collaborating closely with the Hardware team, and ensuring our products are efficient and optimized for RF performance. Your expertise will contribute to the architecture and scalability of various components, and you will work with cross-functional teams to integrate products into our Cloud Applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Circuit and PCB Design: Design circuits and PCBs for wireless IoT products, considering RF optimization and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Hardware team to develop PCBs for new hardware products, providing input into the product architecture.
  • Architectural Best Practices: Understand and implement best architectural practices to ensure product quality and scalability.
  • Power Optimization: Minimize current consumption of all products through hardware, RF, and firmware changes.
  • Technical Reviews: Conduct and/or participate in technical design reviews of requirements, specifications, and designs.
  • Certification: Assist in the certification process of products, including compliance with FCC, CE, UL, and other relevant standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.

Job Specifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • RF Expertise: Broad knowledge of RF circuitry design and systems.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in:
  • Schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Board bring-up.
  • Digital radios, antennas, or other RF technologies.
  • Power optimization for battery-powered systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect information, identify patterns, and interpret data from various sources.
