GENERAL FUNCTION

Source, identify, screen and engage with Doctors of Optometry for Luxottica and its Brands for current and future needs within an assigned geographic area. Support the Luxottica EyeCare Center of Excellence in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to attract, hire, and retain Doctors of Optometry.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and drive strong sourcing, recruiting, and hiring efforts while delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Provide strategic insight and leadership with peers, brand partners, and sublease ODs
  • Leverage creativity, innovation, and social networks to tap into and identify the best candidates
  • Collaborate with brand partners and COE team to forecast hiring needs and develop KPI’s to track deliverables
  • Act as market expert and provide feedback to ensure patient access on all practice modalities
  • Participate in recruiting, HR, and brand partner meetings
  • Communicate as needed with brand partners and senior level executives on filled positions and hiring trends as well as provide insight on future hires both in the short- and long-term strategies
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on hiring techniques and legal issues regarding hiring practices and lease negotiations
  • Lead small project teams and manage stretch assignments as needed
  • Develop and maintain a network of diverse industry contacts
  • Build relationships with Optometry schools, student organizations and industry partners
  • Create OD talent pipeline continuoulsy adding to our Optometrist CRM, assist with OD career planning for mulitiple locations, source ODs current Luxottica ODs
  • Remain well versed in the value and employment proposition of Luxottica and its brands and articulate proposition(s) both verbally and in writing
  • Collaborate with field and brand partners to create and deliver a comprehensive and compelling proposition; differentiate Luxottica’s affiliation/offer from others
  • Collaborate across the business identifying and recommending process improvement related to recruiting and engaging Doctors
  • Identify critical markets and bring to leaderships’ attention with a strategy in min
  • Provide substantive and competency-based feedback to all prospects
  • Identify and anticipate OD’s needs and follow issues to closure
  • Build long-term and meaningful OD relationships

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years’ professional experience, including experience for a large retailer, medical/healthcare or technical experience in recruiting or business role
  • Ability to travel 25% for team meetings, industry and market events
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Familiarity and experience with ATS and CRM systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, writing, listening and presentation skills
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and influencing changes within a large organization

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of business or recruitment experience in Optometry
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Knowledge of various practice modalities: Corporate, Private, Medical, etc.
  • Understanding of Optometry equipment and patient care
  • Knowledge of state regulations for Optometry
  • Experience or proficiency with Success Factors ATS and SmashFly CRM system
  • Knowledge and experience in lease/Sublease contract writing/negotiations

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
