Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking anexperienced Senior Distribution Design Engineer to join our team in North Carolina.

• Leads projects and project team in the execution of several mid-to-large scale projects 
• Execute complex designs for overhead and underground power installations; work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of overhead/underground distribution engineering and constructability related issues; and lead projects
• Execute complex designs for overhead and underground power installations
• Communicates and coordinates project activities with internal team members
• Charged with ensuring projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget
• Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) design reviews and Peer Reviews for all project documents
• Performs peer reviews and mentors project team members
• Assists in the preparation of scoping documents and fees
• Prepares and reviews project drawings
• Resolves design questions and technical concerns
• Provides excellent client/customer service

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years minimum of experience with Distribution Design
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards
• Ability to interface effectively with clients, employees, and management team is essential
• Motivated to continually take on more responsibility and lead the team
• PE preferred
• Candidates must be local to Charlotte or willing to relocate for this position.
