Job description

Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. ADI combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world. With revenue of more than $12 billion in FY22 and approximately 25,000 people globally working alongside 125,000 global customers, ADI ensures today's innovators stay Ahead of What's Possible.
About ADI:
Analog Devices, Inc. is a leading global high-performance analog technology company dedicated to solving our customers' most complex engineering challenges. We play a critical role at the intersection of the physical and digital world by providing the building blocks to sense, measure, interpret, connect, and power devices and systems. We design, manufacture, test, and market a broad portfolio of solutions, including integrated circuits (ICs), software and subsystems that leverage high-performance analog, mixed-signal and digital signal processing technologies. We embrace a culture of innovation and collaboration to push the state of the art.
Digital Processors enable the Intelligent Edge at ADI:
At ADI we specialize in bridging the real word to the digital world: what is increasingly referred to by the technical community as "the edge". ADI is building a broad platform of advanced processors to enable the intelligent edge - supporting markets with challenging requirements such as low power, high security, artificial intelligence, and real-time dependencies. Our processors will be the centerpiece of complete digital, analog and software solutions that we bring to customers in the industrial, healthcare, automotive, and consumer markets. These products will provide flexible, future-proof embedded processing platforms combined with software stacks that meet our customers at their application layer, and form the core of their products.
Position Overview:
As ADI continues to grow its ability to secure the Intelligent Edge, we have the need for a Sr. Director, Silicon Development, that will be responsible for leading the engineering teams that are developing the complete silicon products for our Processor business.
You will be responsible for managing the overall engineering execution from specification, design, verification, and physical implementation of the Processor product families. The responsibility spans from architectural definition to product ramp. You will manage a global engineering team and work with marketing, product definition, product engineering, S/W and IP teams (both internal teams and 3rd party suppliers) to develop highly competitive and innovative products that scale. You will be responsible for translating those definitions to products and collaborating to bring them to production. You will also be involved in helping to shape the BU strategy as a member of the Processor business unit leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience leading chip architecture and/or digital design of complex MCUs, SoCs and/or FPGAs from specification to ramp

  • Experience managing platform development approach to develop family of products
  • In depth knowledge of Digital SoC flow from design to verification to Physical design
    • Including low power design/implementation details
    • State of the art approaches on security requirements and implementations
    • Multiple clock domains, clock gating and multiple voltage domains
  • Experience in collaborating with project management to develop project schedules, key objectives, steer project execution, and identify/manage risks
  • Experience incorporating hardware-based security (Hardware Security Modules, ARM TrustZone, Secure Boot, Software Update, etc.) and functional safety (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) technologies into a robust hardware/software system design
