We are currently hiring for a Senior Director - SALT – Internal Tax in the Chicago, Illinois area for our partner client in the pharmaceuticalindustry.
(hybrid, full-time, direct-hire role) - (Hybrid – Flexibility for remote work with occasional travel to Chicago)

Position Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current state and develop a strategy for SALT tax strategies.
- Lead seamless delivery of reporting and compliance processes.
- Communicate effectively on state tax matters to firm owners.
- Engage with business leaders on key issues, manage risks, and identify opportunities.
- Provide day-to-day state tax leadership and drive process transformation.
- Support talent acquisition and development within the Tax Function.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of strategic partnership experience, preferably within professional services.
- Deep expertise in partnership tax accounting and US/state tax requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate across leadership roles.
- Masters in Tax/Accounting preferred; CPA required, JD/LLM a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel.
