SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for leading the Prints & Multiples Dept. and includes evaluating property, acquiring consignments, building relationships, generating and responding to leads, participating in marketing, catalog production, and sales processes, along with mentoring specialists and cataloguers, among other duties.   
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Evaluate the property and establish auction estimates.
• Acquire consignments through HA and individually generated leads.
• Develop a growth plan for the department
• Mentor and develop colleague’s strengths.
• Oversee the research, authentication, and cataloging of property.
• Proof catalog text and images, press releases, consignment and bidding emails, and advertising copy
• Personally market lots in auctions to various clients.
• Work closely with Marketing for targeted outreach
• Contribute to the expansion of the client database.
• Answer inquiries before, during, and after the auction.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients and work with the Dallas team
• Actively participate in auctions.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of experience in a major auction house preferred and/or as a commercial dealer focusing on design or equivalent education and experience.
