OverviewHumanscale is seeking an ambitious Senior Director of Global Ecommerce& Marketplace to play a critical role in driving the strategy and execution of our online direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will champion Humanscale's DTC digital transformation efforts though a re-platforming of our ecommerce environment to Shopify Plus and Amazon channels.
Responsibilities- Develop and drive a Global Ecommerce strategy that maximizes revenue and brand visibility, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Direct all aspects of site merchandising, site operations, and customer journey flows, ensuring that the new site is commercially salient.
- Lead the global scaling of Shopify Plus, ensuring seamless cross-border operations and localization.
- Maintain Humanscale's legacy ecommerce performance until launch of Shopify Plus within Humanscale's new website.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and preferences to maximize delight and desire throughout the customer journey and shopping experience.
- Establish performance metrics and monitor the achievement of KPIs across ecommerce channels to optimize performance and develop reliable forecasting models.
- In collaboration with the Humanscale Growth and Digital Operations Teams, manage relationships with external agencies that focus on performance marketing and creative design.
- Lead the SKU optimization and product mix strategies that drive DTC revenue.
- Develop and optimize our marketplace strategy for platforms like Amazon, with agency support.
- Develop a localized promotions calendar in collaboration with the Retail Channel team.
- Drive DTC segmented email, CRM, and social media journeys in partnership with Growth channel owners to build a robust customer funnel, reduce CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and increase LTV (lifetime value).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Product Management, Product Marketing, Retail Channel Distribution, Customer Support, and Operations teams to ensure an optimally holistic ecommerce strategy.
- Monitor competitors and stay abreast of industry trends, seeking innovative opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Drive budget planning and ensure return on investment across all Ecommerce initiatives.
- Maintain paid digital media marketing budgets in collaboration with the Growth team and track spending and billing with Brand and Finance teams.
- Grow and develop a high-performance team of data-driven merchandisers and ecommerce managers.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Ecommerce, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- An expert practitioner in the Shopify Plus environment on an international level.
- Must possess a passion for design and a strong sense for compelling creative.
- Experience leading onsite optimization and platform strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience in driving qualified online traffic through SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing, CRM, programmatic, and content marketing is required.
- Demonstrated ability in managing external agencies for performance marketing, creative design, and web development.
- Strong analytical skills with proven history of data-driven decision making.
- Solid project management skills with ability to prioritize and manage trade-offs for delivery of existing projects while concurrently planning future projects.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence across cross functional teams and pro-actively problem solve.
- Sales Layer PIM (Product Information Management) experience is a plus.
- Responsible for P&L over $4m
- Global Ecommerce experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Shopping, SEO, PPC (Pay Per Click), retargeting environments.
- Klaviyo experience is a plus.
- SMS marketing a plus.

Salary Range: $132,695-$193,550
In addition to the base salary, this position also has a variable compensation component. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline. Humanscale considers other factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market location and business considerations when extending an offer.
