The Managed Markets Finance team is responsible for forecasting and managing the balance sheet liabilities for the Commercial, Medicare Part D/Coverage Gap, Medicaid, and Tri Care channels for all BioPharma products.
Other critical responsibilities include managing and preparing the Chargebacks pipeline accrual, Sales Returns accruals (Sales Returns and Steady State), and GPO Admin Fee accruals.
The Senior Director of Managed Markets Finance reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Biopharma Group Finance, member of the Biopharma Finance Leadership Team and manages a team of 5 colleagues.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr Director, Managed Market Finance is responsible for:
- Forecasting and accrual of rebates for the Commercial, Medicare/Coverage Gap, Medicaid, Tri Care, and VA rebate channels
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet liability accounts associated with the above channels
- Sales Returns reserves and point of sale accruals
- GPO admin fee accruals
- Chargebacks pipeline accrual
- Forecast and accrual for the Branded Prescription Drug Fee
- Partner with US Policy, Global Pricing, PCA and GFS to model the impact of legislative changes on future gross to net accruals
- Lead the implementation of forecast/accrual changes driven by passage of the Inflation Reduction Act
- Responsible for modeling the net impact of proposed WAC price changes for presentation to Executive Leadership Team
- Prepare and present gross to net forecasts, results, and projections to Senior Leadership
- Monitor Gross to Net forecast trends and work closely with Commercial Finance to educate Commercial colleagues on the impact of contracting and pricing decisions on gross to net
- Lead the review of forecasting processes and quarterly results with internal and external audit
- Collaborate with Commercial Finance to estimate the appropriate channel mix for launch products and products that have lost exclusivity
- Lead the integration of products acquired in business development deals into legacy Pfizer gross to net accrual and forecast process
- Partner with PCA (PHI organization), Controllers and Commercial Finance to determine the appropriate revenue recognition for value based and/or outcomes-based contracts
- Accountable for coaching and developing direct reports

REQUIRED BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 15+ years of experience in finance or accounting
- Must have very strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written & presentations) demonstrating the ability to effectively summarize critical information into clear, concise, and insightful updates.
- Strong financial modeling and critical thinking skills, and proactive thought leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA or MBA
- Business finance partner for US Pharma business or with experience in managing activities related to US healthcare system and gross to net

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $185,800.00 to $297,700.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.
