We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Director of Digital Transformation who will be responsible to oversee the implementation of a new digital core that will enable our goal of becoming the number 1 Sugar Confections company in the world. Success will be demonstrated by effectively leading this transformational change while addressing the organizational needs for our people, processes, and technologies.

The technical scope includes key elements of the SAP S/4HANA ERP Suite and adjacent platforms to be determined during the development of the Business Blueprint. You will lead external partners as well as internal IT Resources to execute the program.

You will collaborate and interface with the Business Process Transformation Leader daily to ensure that there is alignment of the technical solution to business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the enterprise architecture discipline, should have as strong application and technology experience and driven transformational and technology modernization initiatives.

Ways you will make a difference
  • Project and Program Excellence: Lead multifaceted- cross-functional teams throughout the entire Digital Transformation implementation lifecycle. Ensure the execution of project management strategies- encompassing planning- design- configuration- testing- training- and post-implementation support.
  • Enterprise Application Architecture: Run and facilitate the Architecture Review Board. Enable alignment to future state architecture, drive the modernization of legacy capabilities, and provide architecture guidance for application and infrastructure teams.
  • Vendor Partnership: Forge and manage strategic alliances with Ferrara System Integrators, Software Companies, and 3rd party vendors. Establish vendor management guidelines and execute robust processes to support them.
  • Business Value Tracking: Develop and implement frameworks for tracking- measuring- and communicating the tangible business value generated by the program. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the financial health of the program.
  • Risk Mitigation: Spearhead proactive identification of potential implementation risks- steering the formulation of robust mitigation strategies. Minimize disruptions and delays and safeguard project timelines and objectives.
  • People Management: Lead- mentor- and develop high-performing teams- promoting collaboration- professional growth- and a results-driven culture. Provide guidance- feedback- and performance evaluations to team members.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage resources- including personnel- budget and technology- to ensure the successful execution of the implementation while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Expertise in vendor management- contract negotiations- and value-driven procurement practices.
  • Oversite of Application Landscapes with an emphasis on reducing integration complexity and leveraging capability of the target landscape before adding additional platforms.
  • Track record of innovation- strategic decision-making- continuous improvement- and resource optimization.
Experiences that will support your success
  • At least 3 full lifecycle business transformation programs enabled by SAP including the S/4 Platform.
  • Proven experience in SAP Activate Methodology and/or similar methodologies used by System Integrators.
  • Developed governance and standards around Application Architecture.
  • Proven experience in guiding enterprise architecture initiatives and leading modernization efforts.
  • Broad technical architecture knowledge in Core Applications, Data and Analytics platforms - ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM, Web Applications, eCommerce, etc.;
  • Experience in Cloud Architecture (Azure, AWS), Security Architecture, IT management platforms (ServiceNow) and others.
  • Implementation of a solution on the SAP Rise and BTP Platforms.
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in dealing with multicultural and multifunctional teams.
  • General management and program/service delivery experience in IT (multifunctional preferable)
  • 10+ years of IT experience building and leveraging solutions utilizing SAP Technologies preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
  • Relevant Certifications such as ITIL, Agile Development, APICS, CPIM, etc.
  • MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree preferred.
