Senior Director - Business Technology, Helpdesk and Collaboration
We are looking to add a senior technical leader to set the vision and direction of our Helpdesk and Collaboration teams. Both teams’ mission is to deliver a world class employee experience. Helpdesk does that by preventing and solving technology problems and managing hardware services. The Collaboration team does that by directing & enabling sustainable collaboration and communication patterns with an emphasis on focus, fewer ways of doing things, and minimizing noise.
In this role, you’ll lead a global team of technicians, systems analysts, and engineers, and partner closely with leaders and internal stakeholders across the entire organization. We provide high quality support and imagine & deliver solutions so that our 8,000+ colleagues can be effective and productive each day with minimal friction and distraction. We focus on helping the business scale efficiently through systems and automation.
In this role, you will:
Lead the Helpdesk function
End user tech support and hardware asset management - global team with staff in all of our geos
Lead the Collaboration function
Systems that power our internal Wiki, meetings, project mgmt, internal comms, event production, office mgmt, etc
Cultivate an operating system that’s focused on fast paced problem solving, iterative development, employee experience, and impact
We’re looking for people who have:
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and values iterating frequently
Hands on technical background and experience with using AI to better the customer experience
This role is expected to stay close to the work and therefore we’re looking for somebody who is adept at working in systems themselves and ideally has a software engineering background
An understanding of what best-in-class tooling exists in these ecosystems
Deep subject matter expertise in Helpdesk, ITAM, and Collaboration systems
A deep understanding of how to create a team culture that balances urgency with high quality and sustainable work
Experience negotiating partnerships with third party vendors
Strong analytical abilities; experience running, publishing and delivering reporting to multiple partners

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles.
