Job Title:Senior Digital Marketing Technologist

Position Summary:
The Senior Digital Marketing Technologist plays a pivotal role in enhancing our digital presence and expanding our online reach. This role is responsible for implementing and managing innovative Digital Marketing strategies, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive engagement, and ensuring the seamless integration of our marketing efforts across all digital channels.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Digital Marketing strategies aligned with Our Daily Bread Ministries' overall marketing objectives.
  • Identify and implement effective Digital Marketing tools and technologies to streamline processes, improve campaign performance, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop software solutions that enable Digital Marketing to effectively engage digital audiences.
  • Work closely with other software developers to manage and maintain Our Daily Bread Ministries' websites, ensuring optimal user experience, accessibility, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Analyze and interpret Digital Marketing data to gain insights into audience behavior, campaign effectiveness, and market trends.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Digital Marketing trends and technologies to ensure Our Daily Bread Ministries remains at the forefront of online marketing strategies.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members on the use of Digital Marketing tools and technologies.
  • Direct Salesforce developers to create comprehensive views of our audience and develop personalized experiences and automated marketing campaigns.
  • Assist global Digital Marketing teams and ministry-wide marketing team to utilize all the features of Sales Force Marketing Cloud and other relevant marketing technologies.
  • Work with internal teams and third-party vendors as required to integrate Application Program Interfaces (APIs) including, but not limited to, Email Service Providers, eCommerce Platforms, Google, and content platforms.
  • Assist with implementation and on-going training of guidelines, technologies, and best practices of websites and emails with global teams.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and trends that pertain to digital development, email marketing, design, and distribution, and make appropriate recommendations to the Global User Experience Team members.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to accomplish approved plans and campaigns.
  • Support user testing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Study or Knowledge and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Web Development, Digital Design and Illustration, or Visual Communications.
  • 7+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization.
  • Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3, Bootstrap, C#, VB.Net, PHP, JavaScript, and other related web development software.
  • Salesforce developer certification a bonus.
  • Proficiency with Web tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency with content management and e-commerce software and associated tools like Magento, Shopify, Stripe, React, and WordPress.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with Google’s Apps for Business (Docs/Sheets).
  • Proficiency with Email Service Provider(s).
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for Our Daily Bread Ministries' mission and a commitment to using technology to advance the organization's goals.
  • Strive to live a life consistent with biblical principles, engaged with the Bible on a consistent basis and demonstrate continued growth and spiritual development.

Internal Work Environment:

Daily communication and coordination with global teams. Direct and communicate teams to better leverage technologies and follow best practices in Digital Marketing. Lead trainings and develop global team members. Ability to work in a cross-functional environment with individuals at all levels of technological aptitude.

External Communication Requirements:

Engage current and discover new partners and vendors to help achieve Digital Marketing goals. Communicate and resolve issues in service or support with outside vendors.

Leadership Responsibility:

Direct and enable software developers and Marketing Teams to utilize cutting edge Digital Marketing technologies. Lead and train teams locally and globally for both front-end and back-end interfaces. Own the Salesforce Marketing Cloud product experience.

Stewardship of Resources:

Responsible for a large Digital Marketing technology budget and the selection of tools, services, and projects exceeding 1M annually.
