Role Summary
Magna New Mobility is a startup inside Magna International, a mobility technology company and one of the largest automotive suppliers in the world. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a specialty in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining DevOps and MLOps pipelines and infrastructure in an AWS environment. This role will be hybrid in our Lowell office. #LI-hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and sustain DevOps and MLOps pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.
- Establish continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows for software and machine learning models.
- Work in close collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to transition software and ML models into a production environment.
- Monitor the performance metrics of software and ML models and resolve any issues that may occur.
- Ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and technologies in DevOps, MLOps, and AWS.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant studies
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer, maintaining production clusters.
- Demonstrable experience in MLOps, preferably within an AWS setting.
- A solid understanding of web and network protocols and standards (HTTP, TLS, DNS, etc)
- Experience in building automation tools and scripts, using coding languages such as Python.
- Experience with system monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.
