Vanderweil’s Science and Technology Group is leading the future of MEP Engineering design in R&D facilities ranging from cutting-edge pharmaceutical companies, leading academic institutions, award winning start-up companies and facilities for Nobel Laureates! Within these facilities you will have an opportunity to lead the design of general labs, high containment labs, clean rooms and beyond! With a focus on sustainability and decarbonization, you can leverage your experience and work with a well-established engineering team!

Some of your responsibilities include the following:

• Management of schedule and budgets for multiple projects.
• Responsible for client communications.
• Primary lead with managing outside sub-consultant architects, engineers and vendors.
• Effectively develop and manage project designs from initial concept through design documents, construction documents and close-out.
• Construction Administration activities including submittal reviews, RFI responses and Shop Drawing reviews.
• Ability to perform site investigation surveys to support design efforts for interim and final punch list reviews to support Construction Administration and Project Closeout.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Management experience in MEP industry
• 3+ years in Laboratory (Sci-Tech) or Healthcare Facilities
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• PMP or PE certification is a plus
• Client facing role, excellent communication skills required.
