Position Overview: FINSYNC is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Design Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering top-tier design services and leading creative teams. As the Senior Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, translating, and executing strategic concepts into actionable initiatives across all marketing channels within our company.

The ideal person for this role will be highly creative, passionate about the industry, have strong communication skills, exhibit phenomenal attention to detail, easily build rapport with others, and excel at managing and motivating team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to the creative team, ensuring alignment with company goals and brand identity.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and fellow chief officers to drive creative excellence, similar to collaborating with business, sales, and marketing teams in crafting compelling concepts.
• Utilize your strong background in visual design systems, collaborative problem-solving, user experience (UX) design, and user interface (UI) design to create compelling and effective design solutions, aligning with spearheading creative strategy.
• Hire, manage, and mentor creative UX practitioners, including UX Researchers, UI/Web designers, Information Architects, and Copywriters, fostering a world-class creative team.
• Define the overall design direction, ensure timeline commitments, and collaborate with engineering teams, aligning creative efforts with business objectives.
• Foster innovation and cultivate a highly inclusive teamwork culture, championing innovation through understanding of the latest trends and consumer insights.
• Establish new design processes to drive creativity and ensure the implementation of best practices, defining processes to increase creative efficiency and consistency.
• Leverage applied behavioral economics for marketing optimization.
• Use your expertise in marketing tools and automation to enhance our strategies, similar to aligning creative efforts with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in creative and design roles, with a focus on software, finance, or related industries.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), web design tools (Figma), and other relevant design software.
• Exceptional team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong work ethic and desire to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for collaboration.
• Innovation mindset.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Background in financial technology
• Experience using project management software (Trello, Jira, Asana, Workfront, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Experience using Google Suite.
