DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on a collaborative team to design interior components for Axiom's Space Station
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and maintainability
- Participate in design reviews, as required, and provide mentorship to other Design Engineers
- Provide input to Project Engineering to forecast scope, schedule, and risks for all assigned projects
- Support Human Factors / User Experience evaluations
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 14+ years' experience in Mechanical Design (or a combined equivalent of education and experience)
- Proficient in 3D CAD environment (Solidworks preferred)
- Familiarity with flight hardware development and certification preferred
