Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Database Administrator / Architect with extensive experience in database installation, architecture, optimization, and security. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our database infrastructure, particularly in a secure government environment.

• Active Security Clearence is required.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional relevant education or specialized experience may offset some years of experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in relational database management and architecture, preferably in a secure government setting. Also, 10 years of experience in complex data ETL activities using SQL Server.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in database optimization and security. Strong experience in data architecture for complex software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, architecture, optimization, and security of relational databases.
• Conduct complex data ETL activities using SQL Server.
• Design and implement robust data architectures for sophisticated software systems.
• Ensure database systems comply with government security standards.
• Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and provide effective database solutions.
