Who We Want
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineering Lead Analyst to be responsible for the development and maintenance of sustainable Data Infrastructure, automated tools, and master data support. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high data quality and driving the engineering and maintenance of relevant systems and processes. You will use your deep understanding of SQL, data modeling, programming, and data management in support of the team.
What You Will Do

  • You will utilize existing systems and their data models to help provide direction or build out solutions that answers strategic questions for our business.
  • You will support problem solving, root cause analysis, solution identification, and evaluate them against requirements.
  • You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust Data Infrastructures to support Stryker's data needs.
  • You will lead the design and implementation of automated tools for data processing and analysis, enhancing overall efficiency and accuracy.
  • You will enable the maintenance of master data systems and processes, ensuring the integrity and quality of master data for the business.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategies for improving data quality and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
  • You will monitor and optimize data workflows, identifying and resolving any issues related to data integration, transformation, and storage.
  • You will provide technical leadership and guidance to business, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, analytics, or other relevant field required.
  • 4+ years of experience required

What We Would Love That You Have (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Proven experience in a data engineering or similar role, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Expertise in SQL and database management systems, with the ability to design and optimize complex queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and the implementation of data models to support business requirements.
  • Focus on building data pipelines and automated data processing solutions.
  • Experience with data quality assessment and improvement strategies, including the implementation of data governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues and identify effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using Power Query to shape and transform data in Power BI, with a focus on data cleansing, filtering, and structuring for analysis and visualization.
  • Expertise in using DAX for creating calculated columns, measures, and complex calculations in Power BI, enabling the extraction of meaningful insights from data.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate, showcasing the ability to design, develop, and deploy efficient and user-friendly application and automated workflows.
  • Capable of streamlining and automating business processes, reducing manual effort, and improving overall operational efficiency.
  • SAP S/4 HANNA or SAP IBP knowledge of system modules, transaction codes, tables/fields, and data integrations capabilities.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, demonstrating the ability to document and communicate technical details about systems tables and fields in a clear understandable manner.
  • Experience with cloud-based data technologies and platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques for data-driven insights and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles for effective planning and execution of data engineering projects.
  • SAP Certification: Possession of relevant SAP certifications in S/4 HANA or IBP, validating a strong understanding of the platforms and adherence to SAP best practices.
