Deposita(TM), an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Senior Data Architect. The Senior Data Architect is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the design, architecture, and management of cloud-based data systems that drive RCS's products and services. This role is responsible for setting policies on how data is stored, accessed, retained, and is designed and enabled to meet the intended business strategy.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide thought leadership in the design, architect, and management of data that is aligned with RCS' overall strategies
• Evaluate current data structure and environment, and create and execute a short-term plan to any identified gaps or potential issues in collaboration with the product team
• Establish and document policies regarding data storage, access, usage, processing, and other key components of data systems

• Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required: 

• • Must possess one or more of the following: 

• • • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

• Type and Length of Specific Experience Required: 

• • Must possess work experience with Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Must have work experience with Visual Studio
  • Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience demonstrating proficiency in the following: 

• • • Developing strategies and executing plans for managing large and growing databases in collaboration with a product team
    • Designing and implementing Disaster Recover strategies in collaboration with a product team
    • Creating architecture and implementing High Availability strategies to provide near-real-time replication environment in collaboration with a product team
    • Designing, leading, and executing key production performance monitoring
    • Creating audit test scripts and ensuring assigned area passes internal/external audit requirements
    • Providing production support
    • Enabling and improving people, process, and technology to deliver optimal support service to the business
    • Service reviews, KPI, management information reporting
