Immediate position available in Atlanta, GA.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a focus in Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or other related fields of study
- Preferred: Graduate Degree in a quantitative discipline
Work Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in Data Science or Business Analytics, preferably in the energy utilities or finance industry
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Strong experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
- Proven record of experience working with large, complex databases and use of statistical models for valuation or prediction
- Advanced proficiency using data warehouse and data mining tools, especially SQL
- Experience collecting data from multiple sources using automation and ETL tools such as SSIS
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Working knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques, coupled with the ability to accurately interpret and present results
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with several cross-functional stakeholders in a timely fashion with measurable results
