Overview of Role
- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments and audits to ensure compliance with CMMC, DFARS 7012, NIST 800-171, and other relevant regulations.
- Analyze and assess various data types, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Controlled Technical Information (CTI), Federal Contract Information (FCI), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulation (EAR99).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security controls and measures.
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Provide guidance and support to the organization on cybersecurity matters.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity Compliance.
- Certification or significant experience in CMMC.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with DFARS 7012, NIST 800-171, and other NIST publications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with various data types such as CUI, CTI, FCI, ITAR, or EAR99.
- Solid decision-making skills to swiftly and objectively view and assess cyber security alternatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
