Sr. Cybersecurity and DT Compliance Specialist is an Individual contributor of the cybersecurity compliance team and will be reporting to the Sr. Manager of DT Cyber Compliance. Roles and responsibilities include planning, and coordinating for site assessments, internal and external audits. DT Compliance includes identified DT assessment compliance issues through all inputs, providing periodic status from the issue owners, and completing appropriate validation when findings have been addressed in a way that will not reoccur.

This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess compliance with policies, standards, and regulations through the performance of risk assessments and controls testing and provide recommendations related to non-compliance areas requiring remediation.

  • Work with control owners and testers to ensure controls are well defined and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Establish centralized compliance repository including drafting and maintaining process and controls documentation, workflows, diagrams, and training materials/manuals related to IT processes.

  • Assist in educating and training individuals across the organization including control and process owners related to compliance concepts, requirements, and responsibilities and establish awareness regarding role of the overall compliance function.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on corporate digital policy compliance requirements, standards and best practices

  • Lead and facilitate various internal & external Digital Technology (DT) audit and compliance assessments

  • Partner, manage communication, and function as a liaison with auditors, members of the DT organization and the Business, in defining schedule, assessing risk, audit scope, validating audit findings, and supporting the business to develop appropriate remediation actions as needed, track and report metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience 

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

  • Experience performing audits and/or control assessments on different components of digital environment including network, servers, databases, applications, etc.

  • Experience in cybersecurity control assessments and/or audits, including control testing

  • Experience with IT controls frameworks [e.g., ISO 27001, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-171, 800-53, etc.]

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and understanding of implementation, configuration, and management of technical security controls in different technologies such as Windows, Linux/Unix, MS SQL Server, etc.

  • Security Certifications (i.e. CISA, CISM, CGEIT or CRISC, Security +, CISSP, etc.)

  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships; strong team player, able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with remote team members.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proactive, critical thinking skills.

  • Strong written/verbal communications skills

  • Demonstrated aptitude working with diverse talent

  • Industry Experience working with/for US DOD, commercial airlines, and aerospace OEMs

  • Motivated, with high self-discipline, able to work effectively remotely (this is a home office position)

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
