Degree and Years of Experience:
Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer on a 10 year contract providing Network and Cybersecurity services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support transport and cybersecurity information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, inclusive of new facilities and building constructions to support the IC mission.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
- Provides Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) support for new and existing customer enclaves.
- Provides Security Impact Analyses and Risk Scoring for systems and connections
- Reviews Security Technical Implementation Guideline (STIG) scores and recommend mitigations
- Completes Security Compliance Assessment Program (SCAP) scans and analyze results
- Follows RMF, NIST and US Government guidelines for providing Information Security for network and system assets
- Monitors and participates in Vulnerability Management (VM) of network and system assets
- Creates, revises, and reviews system security documentation (System Security Plans [SSP]; Plan of Actions and Milestones [POAMs]; Instructions; Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs]; Tools, Techniques and Processes, [TTPs]; Polices, etc.)
- Provides security training and education to all personnel
- Works with System and Network administrators to provide guidance pertaining to Cyber Security best practices and remediating vulnerabilities
- Develops and performs technical presentations for customers
- Serves as technical resource at customer briefings
- Mentors junior engineers and technicians
- Serves as technical lead on projects
- Travels to other Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
- Performs other duties as required
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI
Degree and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance (IA), or relevant IT degree with a significant amount of coursework related to cybersecurity. Additional four (4) years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of degree
- 10-plus years cybersecurity or information assurance experience, with at least two (2) years leading cyber or IA personnel or teams
Required Certifications:
- Must meet DoD Approved 8570 certification requirements for IAT-III
- CISSP, CAP, CEH
Required Skills:
- Prior experience as a security professional on DoD networks.
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures
