Senior Cyber Security Analyst

GovTact is looking for a senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team of professionals in Linthicum Heights, MD. Candidates must have a minimum Secret clearance, and bring at least 8 years of relevant Cybersecurity experience. The position will be mostly on-site, with some work-from-home opportunities after starting.

• The qualified candidate for this position will be responsible for driving transformative initiatives and lead efforts to looks for solutions that can be delivered as a Cybersecurity-as-a-Service for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) so they can better protect themselves against the adversary
• Provide management and support of multiple pilots and projects under the Expanded Offerings and Projects (XOP) Division
• Provide continuous monitoring and analysis of Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) perimeter network traffic for malicious activity
• Provide continuous monitoring and analysis of CDC public-facing infrastructure for threats to potential vulnerabilities
• Create and disseminate priority alerts to CDCs based on observed malicious activity or threats identified through all-source and open-source cyber analysis
• Identify and document capability needs, requirements, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for future pilot offerings to CDCs
• Conduct Analysis of Alternatives through evaluation of performance, operational effectiveness, operational suitably, and estimated costs of alternative solutions
• Engage with customers and external stakeholders to effectively address technical considerations and resolve issues related to multiple service and pilot offerings

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree)
• A minimum of two years of the following experience:
• Providing infrastructure analysis;

Performing analysis of physical and logical digital technologies;
Conducting in-depth target and technical analysis;
Monitoring network/firewall traffic
Using SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk)

• Technical report writing experience
• Technical briefing experience
• Preferred certification(s):
• Security+
• CySA+
• CASP+
• CEH
• CISSP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $132,300.00 - $180,900.00 per year
