Job Summary:
Raytheon is looking for an individual to join the Cyber Security Engineering team for a Cyber Security Engineer position supporting Continuous Monitoring and maintenance of Authority to Operate on Government customer accredited assets at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB), Colorado Spring, CO and at the Raytheon Aurora Campus. The ideal candidate will have a cyber experience across the full spectrum of cyber operations from a mission execution perspective, to include vulnerability management, compliance management, database, and enterprise information security infrastructure.

Responsibilities To Anticipate:
Review and adjudicate Tenable/Nessus Findings
Vulnerability and compliance scanning and mitigation
STIG manual hardening checks
Plan of action and milestones (POAM) work off
Assessment and Authorization Support (A&A)
Software Assurance
Cyber security engineering in support of system development
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of engineering experience in cyber security
An active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance is required on Day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with Tenable Security Center, Nessus for vulnerability and compliance assessment
Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37, NIST Special Publication 800-53 and NIST Special Publication 800-171
Must possess Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II (Security+ or equivalent) Compliant Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of DoD RMF Certification and Accreditation Processes, assessing and validating compliance with IA controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation
Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-III (CISSP or equivalent) Compliant Certification
Self-Starter requiring limited direction and supervision

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
