WE LOVE OUR WORK.
  • Manage the functions of several Count Rooms to ensure business operations are implemented and executed based on established procedures
  • Ensure company assets are properly accounted for and secure in the Count Rooms and in the field
  • Develop, maintain and enforce physical safeguards over all monies, forms, and records related to Count Room processes and procedures
  • Immediately document and report any irregularities to Sr. Leadership
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of cash handling operations to ensure compliance and industry standards are met and current
  • Manage P&L statements and ensure effective use of labor while delivering required services
  • Responsible for the Count Room(s) budgeting process including capital submissions and reports any budget concerns to Sr. Leadership
  • Generates reports and verifies all data as needed
  • Ensures Company compliance, safety and conduct standards are followed by all team members and address any concerns
  • Assess and implement continued safety and security measures as it relates to cash handling
  • Ability to collaboratively work with other departments and leaders to complete property/corporate initiatives and effective day to day operations
  • Conduct monthly cross-departmental performance meetings to ensure customer service success
  • Foster, develop, and promote an environment where team member engagement can grow and thrive
  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with company programs and standards
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Travel Required: 25% - 40% of the time

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
  • 3-5 years of applicable leadership experience with proven managerial and critical thinking skills required
  • Experience within the VGT industry preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain compliance with the Illinois Gaming Board Rules, and the company's Policies and Procedures, System of Internal Controls and other regulatory requirements
  • Work within the guidelines established by Penn Entertainment and Prairie State Gaming

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job will have supervisory responsibilities:
  • Responsible for team member development and training programs
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regard to performance
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs
  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflow
  • Responsible for team member performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling)

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Good written communication skills in English required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
