Position Overview:

We are actively recruiting a seasoned Corporate Paralegal with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in corporate law and a proven track record of delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced environment. Your comprehensive legal background, exemplary research capabilities, and exceptional communication skills will be pivotal in handling a diverse range of legal matters.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in contributing to the success of our legal department, leveraging your extensive experience to provide invaluable support. Your keen attention to detail will be instrumental in navigating complex legal challenges, ensuring that our team operates seamlessly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support attorneys in case preparation, including analyzing case law, statutes, and regulations.

Document Management: Organize and maintain legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, and correspondence, in both electronic and physical filing systems.

Case Preparation: Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including drafting and editing pleadings, motions, and other legal correspondence.

Client Communication: Act as a liaison between attorneys and clients, ensuring effective communication and providing updates on case progress.

Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, agencies, and other relevant entities, adhering to deadlines and compliance requirements.

Trial Support: Assist in trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, organizing trial binders, and coordinating witnesses and logistics.

Billing and Timekeeping: Assist in tracking billable hours and expenses, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.

Legal Technology: Utilize legal software and technology tools to streamline and enhance efficiency in legal processes.

Client Intake: Assist with new client intake procedures, ensuring that all necessary information and documentation are collected and filed appropriately.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree and/or completion of a recognized paralegal program.

Previous experience as a paralegal in a law firm setting, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal information.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in legal software and technology, such as case management and document management systems.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Knowledge of legal procedures, regulations, and court rules.
