Your Impact
- Responsible for accurate and timely month-end close procedures for certain key balance sheets and income statement accounts (including preparing and/or reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations)
- Support the Accounting Manager with month end close management, including coordinating the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Refine processes to improve efficiencies and incorporate best practices including system and process design and implementation, utilizing data to maximize process automation and improve efficiency
- Prepare audit schedules that may be requested by the auditors to support our annual audit
- Support for ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis.
- 3+ years of work experience which includes time working in one of the big four public accounting firms
- Experience with accounting for inventory preferred
- Excellent technical accounting skills with a detailed understanding of current GAAP standards
- Support and enhance a strong SOX control environment
- Must be able to work independently and solve problems with efficiency
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to lead assigned projects
