Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) seeks a Senior Coordinator, Communications to work with the various departments within GMAC to ensure the smooth operations of the Corporate Communications team.
Key Things You Will Be Doing
You will work closely with colleagues on the Corporate Communications team, delivering results in the following areas:
- Manage the marketing intake process to review incoming requests, and assign and track work;
- Coordinate work between various functions (e.g., align schedules, facilitate meetings and documentation, be a central point of contact and continuity between multiple work teams;
- Enforce governance and best practices;
- Project management for branding, special initiatives and purchasing;
- Create and manage training materials and onboarding checklist; and
- Assist with basic graphic design edits as needed.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or certification; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
- 3 years' work experience in related field.
- Excellent organizational, project planning, presentation and time management skills with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to manage daily operations of the function and prioritize work without direction.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical and multitasking capabilities.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofing, and grammar skills.
- Graphic design experience with Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, or other graphic design software.
- Strong online marketing and business aptitude.
- Familiarity of relevant tools, including marketing automation and email platforms, content management systems, internet technologies, and social media sites.
- Ability to focus and work in fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented office environment.
- Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.
