Job description

LinQuest is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator I to join our team in Ohio, California, Colorado, Florida, or Virginia. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance is required.

The Senior Contracts Administrator I will support the day-to-day operations of contract programs and collaborate with internal departments for compliance obligations. You will support the day-to-day administration and execution of contracts associated with new and renewing contracts assigned to you.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide contractual proposal support to program team by taking an active role in negotiation of favorable terms and conditions.
  • Participate in negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Review documentation and interpretation of contractual rights and obligations internally and externally, ensure that due diligence is practiced in complying with stated terms and conditions.
  • Process and negotiate Customer requests for termination. Works together with Finance to assure all costs are collected for the claim and presented to the customer.
  • Initiates the Contract Review process by documenting the customer’s order and contract flow-down requirements and routes those requirements to the appropriate internal departments. 
  • Fosters positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain detailed and compliant contract files
  • Track contract authorizations, funding levels, deliverable and customer correspondence.
  • Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements.
  • Support proposal efforts.
  • Update contract related information in contract management system and other databases.
  • Assist in negotiations (Contracts, NDAs, TAs, ACAs).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6-10+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business, finance, accounting or supply management or related field, or equivalent preferred. An Associates and 2 years additional experience or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years additional experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge in U.S. Government (FAR/DFARs) Contracting.
  • Ability to effectively work with the management of other organizations as well as representatives of Government agencies.
  • Prior experience with various contract types such as IDIQs, Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
  • Experience with contract negotiations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and short deadlines.
  • Ability to work with little oversight and follow established policies and procedures including acquisition laws and regulations.
  • Conversant in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exercises independent judgement and proactively handles supplier/vendor issues.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  • NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) or similar.
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required.

Compensation: The starting salary is $66,716. Salary determinations will be based on a number of factors to include but not limited to location, years of experience, and education.
